This is a 20 minute back massage to connect and calm. It activates the parasympathetic nervous system and releases oxytocin. You can use this massage as a stand alone massage or part of a full body. Listen to your child and slow down, slow your breathing down, elongate the outward breath and connect with your child.
There are times it’s not appropriate to massage your child and you need to be able to listen to your child before you start to massage them.
Take time to get comfy, slow down, commit this time and put your child first. Massage releases oxytocin for you and your child and can calm your nervous system while you are calming theirs.
